How the Gallop Paint Calculator works

The calculator finds the complete wall area from the room length, width and wall height. It subtracts doors and windows, applies the selected number of coats, and divides the final coated area by the paint coverage rate.

Ceiling paint and primer are optional. Paint prices can also be entered to produce a basic material-cost estimate. Labor, preparation, repairs, tools and delivery charges are not included.
